Corded Curtain Poles

Corded Curtain Poles are to be highly recommended for expensive curtains that will need to be maintained in the best possible condition, especially if they are interlined and cannot be cleaned.  A corded pole will reduce the handling of the leading edge of the curtains, thus reduce soiling.

Occasionally curtains may need to be fitted, for example, to a high stairway window that cannot be reached to be operated manually. These curtains can  be operated by means of the cord.

CORDED WOODEN CURTAIN POLE

A corded metal track is discreetly embedded within a recessed channel on the underside of the wooden curtain pole. Track gliders are used instead of standard curtain rings, and, in some cases, the cording side can be selected.
