Curtain tracks can be plastic or metal, corded or uncorded, plain or decorative.  Plastic Curtain Tracks are very economical and can be used for straight or bay windows. Most plastic tracks can be bent by hand to fit around a bay window and they can mostly be ceiling or wall fixed.

Metal Curtain Tracks can also be bent, but sometimes this needs to be done at the factory. Metal tracks can also be fitted to the ceiling as well as the walls, ideal for rooms with low ceilings where there is not enough room above the window opening to fit a pole.

Curtain tracks are also most commonly used behind a curtain pelmet as they will not be on show and are well suited to the heavy weight curtains often used with a decorative curtain pelmet.

There is also a completely new style of curtain track known as a polmet. It has all the advantages of a curtain track, but is also an extremely attractive decorative addition to your decor.
